This is an area characterized by the presence of numerous olive groves and vineyards in which olive growing has always been an important, indeed indispensable, activity. Here no animal fats were ever used for cooking because the only fat used was oil; without this we could have not cooked and it would have affected the whole diet. Olive growing represented a form of livelihood for the families of the area and thanks to our oil mill today this bond of a family of families is still alive.

The only secret is passion

Today olive growing is an activity that, unlike others, is not involved in production dynamics “forced” by the need to earn an income, but is carried out essentially out of passion. This is also the case for our oil mill. Not a subtle but substantial difference in an approach that preserves plants and crops from stressful treatments and activities for an everyday product.
