Saffron and Abruzzo have an ancient bond; today the splendid purple saffron flower is cultivated more and more widely up to the foothills from which you can still see the Adriatic Sea. Our seasoning comes from the saffron tradition, which sees the dried saffron pistils macerate and give their particular fragrance to the extra virgin olive oil.
